Private & Semi-Private Lessons

In November, December, January, February and March, our small-group lessons are suggested even for experienced returning students. But, if none of our classes fit in with your busy schedule, we offer private (1-on-1) and semi-private (2-on-1) lessons on weekdays, week nights, and weekends at times convenient for our customers. Each of our Ballpark instructors is available for private lessons.

Each lesson is at least 30 minutes in duration. The total cost for a set of 4 is:

     $200 - private lessons
     $300 - 2 - person semi-private lessons
     $225 - private pitching w/ Coach Picaro

Group Lessons

You pick the time for the four 1 hour sessions, in a small group, with a selection of skills, coaches, and times for your convenience.
Note: Class enrollment is limited to:
4 for hitting
8 for all-skills
4 for pitchers and catchers

After-School Private Groups

Even though we have never advertised for this, the number of parent-organized private after-school groups has increased greatly in the past year.
We already have six groups that have been meeting since September. Most groups continue until early March. Some current participants began when they were 5 1/2 years old, and are now in their fifth year!

Groups consist of 4, 6, or 8 players as young as 5 1/2 ( or as old as 12), and are run from 3:30-4:30 or 4:30-5:30.
Only two such classes can be scheduled at any given weekday time. Cost is $30 per child per class ($35 if 4 in a group). Vacation weeks are determined by the class group, not The Ballpark. Call for Availability.

Expanded 75 minute weekly clinics

Covering everything - hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and baserunning - these clinics are offered in November,December,January, and February. Each runs for four consecutive weeks. Tom Baylock, Scotch Plains-Fanwood H.S. Head Coach, directs the Monday Sessions with his staff. Dennis McCaffrey, Cranford H.S. Head Coach, directs the Wednesday sessions with his staff.
